Library books

Ok, so I lost my library books.

And it made me unhappy. And stressed. And generally miserable.

So I stopped for a minute and asked myself why the heck I was spazzing out.

The first answer that came to mind was that those books were due today. And I couldn’t renew them.

But the more I thought about it, the more I began to realize that I don’t like losing things – anything (especially my wallet *cries*) – because it means I’m not in control of my little universe anymore. It puts my fate (and my money, and my reputation) in other peoples’ hands. Which generally makes me unhappy. I don’t typically think of myself as a control freak (although other people might disagree with me), so this was odd for me to realize.

And now that I’ve realized it, I’m a better person. Oh…and if you’ve seen my wallet, please let me know! 🙂

::edit:: Found my wallet!  (Yay for friends…where would I be without them…?)

  1. Yikes ! Losing library books is no fun! On you wanting to be in control of you own litlle world, please I’m NOT preaching at you, don’t take it that way. But, we need to let God into our little world, becuase he knows best how to fix it.

  2. That was the conclusion I reached as well. 😉 I think that’s one more thing I need to work on!

  3. You’re not the only one!
